Today, proceed for a tour of Munnar a tea town, Munnar catches the visitor's attention with its refreshing aroma first and impress with its natural beauty. The sightseeing plan for the day includes visit to Mattupetty Lake a very beautiful picnic spot. You could enjoy boating in the lake and dam and View Mountains and landscapes from afar. Continue to Eco point and then to Kundala dam, offering beautiful view of Munnar valley below. Today drive to Thekkady the land of spice plantations. check into a wildlife resort. Later, set on safari inside Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, this spreads over 777 sq km. Roughly half of the landscape is dense evergreen forest, savannah grassland and moist deciduous forest. Elephants, wild boars and sambar.. Bird populations such as darters, cormorants, kingfishers and racket tailed Drongos have made the park their home.
